A molecular sieve adsorber is a device that uses a zeolite (molecular sieve) to remove nitrogen from natural gas, air, or other gases. The zeolite has an affinity for nitrogen molecules and when a natural gas or air mixture passes through the zeolite, the nitrogen molecules will be adsorbed (held on the surface) of the zeolite. When the natural gas or air mixture is passed through the zeolite again, the nitrogen molecules will be released and will be purged out of the system.
